Social Justice in the Writing Center
A vital part of Highline’s mission is equity and social justice. The Writing Center is in a unique position to support that mission. We can make a huge difference in students’ lives and school experiences (including your own), but it’s important that we approach social justice in a thoughtful and mindful way. These readings address some of the biggest issues in the Writing Center and how we can address them in our Center.
This section needs expansion! If you have resources you’d like to share about social justice in higher education or writing centers, please email the director.
